Hi Dani, interesting video. Thanks for sharing. We have had to cut back on buying things more recently. Three reasons for this would be saving money due to being retired, saving space and when buying online, we have found our post deliveries have cut back severely since the lock-downs here, which has made us consider to only buy when needed. We have small battery operated air fashioners, which can sometimes cause visitors think our house is haunted, when they go off without warning!!! talking about fashion, I actually saw boots for sale online that they advertised as they could only be worn once. I am wondering if a person wore these boots to go out, would they actually self-destruct before heading home??? With affordable shoes here, the laces tend to last longer that the shoes. Years ago, when I was working, we had to do overtime and one of the workers purchased "cheap" coffee for our breaks. This coffee actually tasted more like iron filings. It was an unknown brand with a label with something looking more like ancient hieroglyphics!!! Certainly one way of quitting a coffee habit for sure. All the very best. Robert.

I’m a Filipina living in New Zealand. I love your videos. They’re inspiring. I just started here too so it’s fun to look around for other NZ vloggers. Take care

My downsizing journey is similar to yours! Leaning toward quality and respecting what you have! It's so funny you mention cheap jewelry, it creates so much clutter and doesn't last over time! Love your message and surrounding myself with like-minded people! xoxo -Marlo (on the other side of the world in NYC!)

I did not drink coffee every day until I was 54. I spent the money for something else for decades, until I thought it was worth it for more energy and more antioxidants.

Hi. Can you please give some insight about the IT job opportunities in New Zealand? And would you recommend international students to study here? Will my degree over here be recognised worldwide?
