I think I am dense. I don't understand the cable clue. After deciding the cable is the ones without pattern and based on the 6 lights, there are 2 cables to pick: 6 and 7. What is the clue showing it is cable 7?

I'm confused too, I'm assuming it's cause the briefcase had the B-17.001.21 label, so it uses the set of B numbers with no pattern

I came to make the same comment but I again never understood it either

The numbers in set B are odd, and the numbers in set A are even. So it would be 7 because the label says B, and the only choices with plain wires above 5 are 6, 7, or 10. 7 is the only choice for an odd number 👍

The books/fans don't make sense to me. What are you seeing?

There are markings on 1 of the books. Which is like a dash. Lets say the book with the dash is placed 2nd in the book pile. Then the fan is on power 2. You move by rows. There are 9 book piles, each with 3 books and 1 of the 3 books has a marking
