if you want simplicity on Android I would go with a Google phone running pure Android so its not cluttered with a bunch of other stuff you don't need and will probably end up just confusing you. The Nexus line and the moto X are amazing phones. I just got the s6 Edge and its probably the nicest looking phone I've ever seen, but in regards to UI and how you use the phone and simplicity, I would take any of those phones mentioned above over any phone on the market. just some extra advice!

Damn and I know all of these tricks and tips... started with the LG Optimus 3D and saw my foster mom had a Galaxy S Captive and that was when I knew I fell in love. Got my first Samsung phone and it was the S2 LTE, then from there I got all of them till the S6 Edge. Had the iPhone 4 once cause I wanted cause of the popularity and how much I always wanted an iPhone and I hated it. Tried the iPhone 6 and I hated that so Samsung is my main phones. I want the S7 Edge :/
