Oooohhh... That second one hits home. Reminds me of my oldest daughter's dad. The poor girl is 13 and has started having really nasty panic and anxiety attacks. I told her id take her to Dr to see if we could get her some meds to help. When her dad found out, he told her NO WAY! He wasn't about to let her take the unnecessary drugs and if she "REALLY" wanted to get better, she would meditate. If meditating doesn't work, it's because she disnt want it to, or because she doesn't really believe it will work, so its her fault and he wont let her take conventional meds until she gives an "honest" effort to meditate it better. SMH. Its a catch 22. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Don't worry. I'm still taking her in and getting her the meds. She'll just hide them at her dad's. Hopefully I can get her a medical cannabis card ASAP.. WHAT is wrong with people?! How can they do that to other people.
