In the story, a crucial basketball match between Sherim High School and Beijing High School takes a surprising turn when Sherim's star player, Dai Wong, underperforms due to the shocking news of his girlfriend, Day Young, being pregnant. Distracted, Wong leaves the match midway to be with her. Fast forward 18 years, Wong is now a middle-aged man working as a washing machine repairman, struggling with financial issues and an impending divorce.
