I had a 73 Vega. I put a 350 in it with a Turbo 350 transmission. Installed gas shocks, put a set of NCT Eagle 225’s all round. It was amazing in a straight line. My oil pan had to be modded so that the nipples on the tie rods didn’t put holes in it and so that the steering link didn’t drag underneath the front of the pan. It was one of the best performance cars I ever owned.

I had a 1972 Vega. The engine fell out really fast. We got a 283 motor in it. It sounds nice.

Pre 1975 #1 on distributor is at 7:30 on distributor cap. 1975 and up its at 5:00 on distributor cap straight to #1 off by one notch on timing. Should clean up idle.

Was shootin' some serious flames out the headers, while you were trying to start it 😄

The factory didn't use starting fluid why are you ? If it doesn't start on its own figure out why.

the timinig is very slow

This dude this dude is slower than the timing is. it's hard to watch. Why does nobody understand that engines run on gasoline, not either. either lifts cylinder heads, while they're still 🔩 bolted, causes garage fires and can burn the back of your house off.
