Lyrically, the song definitely hits home about the concept of time and where has it gone. One minute you're a 20 something youthful kid and in the blink of an eye, you're looking back and watch in awe how time has flown and what events has occurred in one's lifetime. Love songs like this. Life is fleeting folks - go out there and make a mark on someone or something you hold value in this world.

Can't believe you've read my comment, I love youtube. I remember as clear as if it was yesterday being 6 years old and seeing Pokemon for the first time. I don't know if you get tired of being known as the Pokémon guy as it's clear you have quite the talents. Regardless, here's one more. I grew up in a dysfunctional home filled with abuse. As a child, it just becomes normal and you learn to wipe your tears and move on. And whenever that Pokémon intro began I was transported into another world filled with happiness and adventure. I was filled with so much joy that I would actually forget my reality. So thank you for that. I don't think anyone can sing that song like you do. Well it turns out if you perform something as an adult when you're younger, time passes the same for both that and yourself. If I was in a movie 20 years ago I would be 20 years older than I was when I was in the movie. Pretty straightforward concept. He was an adult then, he is an older adult now.

When i first encountered the Pokemon show, i did not like the show or its song; it didn't appeal to me the way that a few other shows did. This was not a reflection of Jason's voice, but simply of the show. It would take a few seasons before i warmed up to the show. Once warmed up, i finally became a fan of Pokemon. So now we jump ahead to August 2018, and this video Jonathan Young uploaded came on my screen. i've seen quite a few metal covers of various song, but what made that cover different was seeing Jason Paige rockin' on it, and adjusting to the metal genre. And Jason did it with passion like i rarely see! The next morning, i asked myself "Does Jason have his own channel?", and to my delight, here it be! There's MORE to Jason Paige than just Pokemon. Jason, i know you don't have time to comment to everyone, but "The only thing that grows overnight are weeds." - Don't get discouraged by having ONLY 46,000 subscribers, plus me. Keep on being yourself, and people will respond positively.
