This is pretty good, like the fact it wasn't the standard Bond medley orchestration and contained a few more recent themes. I thought John Barry did his strongest Bond work between 1967-1971, so surprised that Diamonds are Forever, You Only Live Twice or On Her Majesty's Secret Service didn't feature. Those tracks are all amazing!

A concert that has the sense of featuring Surrender instead of Crow's lousy opening theme? I didn't even have to play the video to know I'd be listening to a orchestra with good arrangements - they even figured out how to reference the ONE good part of Crow's TND theme in the mix too. Some tuning and timing is in order for them though. Nevertheless, the arrangements remain top-notch, as I said before. GoldenEye is particularly punchy.

After listening to many arrangements, this is my favorite, and its well delivered. The opening could be stronger and punchier, but I did like the crescendo. This arrangement is beautiful and covers so many themes. The transition between songs is very well arranged too! Thumbs up to the sax player in "The Spy Who Loved Me" part. Loved it! :D

Poor Ian Flemming never lived to see the success his creation became. How could he have ever known in the 1950's when he sat down at his typewriter in Jamaica to begin Dr. No what he was about to give birth to? Now, more than one half of a century later, his James Bond lives strong as ever and possibly stronger than ever before. And to think.....he chose the name "James Bond" when he saw it on the spine of a book about bird watching! Yes, that's correct. The original James Bond was one of the world's foremost ornthologists, and Flemming saw his name on one of books in a shop and had his eureka moment: "That's it! That's the name of my spy! Crisp! Classy! British! James Bond!" And the rest is history.
