Dont let the labour government know....with their new tenant laws, tenants can now live there rent-free, if they lose their jobs.... further you cant sell your property with in 2 years of a new tenancy, plus you have to offer the tenant to be the first to buy, with a discount of all the rent they have paid...F being a landlord now.

@@SimonSmithOnline life is great, every day a holiday...but I disagree about holding property as an investment at the present time...its overpriced and the government wants what you got....its more about preserving your wealth then building right now.

@@SimonSmithOnline Im a retired UK builder, buying and selling houses was my pastime, bought a number of properties, in the 90s on the back of the crash, did really well, sold everything 2 years before covid...even then everything was taken its time to sell a lot of my friend's have all sold as well...Ican see your point view, every body needs some were to etc...but things are not the same, Capitalism is now dead in the UK, GOVERNMENT AND THERE BLACKROCK FRIEND'S WANT IT ALL...Uk is broken, and they going to Tax the Fout of you, by design, the train you are on has already passed. People cant afford shit let alone your rent, that you are leveraging on....any way all the best.
