@@2869may yes it could but not every wolf everytime gives no credit to the wolf. I had two dogs handle a brown bear took several swipes from it relatively uninjured

@@tylerbailey470 A brown bear is NOT a Polar bear... lol I would bet those swipes were quick little defensive swipes... A full strength bear swipe could rip a dog wide open easily.
