It was my first time in Vegas last weekend and I followed what I learned from your videos. I was searching for low volatility machines, I was playing really low budget(like 200 in total), I only put 20 at a time, first I doubled it so cashed out. Then I played another machines and lost 10 so cashed out again. Then I played another 20 on double diamond and won 150 so I cashed out and it was soooooo much fun. Then the next day my wife played Buffalo with 20 just for fun and she got the free game feature for like the second spin, she ended up with 73 free games and 300 dollars. Thank you soo much for your videos, this was our first time playing slots(for longer than 2 mins lol) and thanks to educating ourselves beforehand on your videos we had a ton of fun.

Brantley, thank you so much for all of your videos! I went on my first cruise a few months ago. I never considered myself a gambler before, but I loved playing the slots in the casino. I found your channel to better understand how all the machines worked. Your build-up method is great! I wanted to try it out before my next cruise in July, so I drove across the state line to the nearest casino, since Texas doesn't allow casinos. I stuck to my budget of $500. While I didn't double my budget, I still left with $300 of the $500 thanks to setting limits and having a pocket lockbox. I got 4 hours of playtime (compared to less than 2 hours on the cruise), built up 650 in comp points, and had a great time. I already got my first free play offer. I also really appreciate you showing us all the wins and losses and reminding us that at the end of the day, it is still gambling. Part of my bank building strategy is playing $100 on Keno. I play 5 spots at 50 cent per play, which returns $400. I play at the bar and get my 3-5 comped drinks in before I move out to the slot floor. I'll hit the 5 spot at least once about 60% of the time. About 25% of the time I'll hit it multiple times. Obviously it doesn't hit every time but I do hit it more times than I hit the jackpot on Double or Triple Diamond, which is what I move to after my Keno session. However, If I hit it multiple times, I will usually move to a mid to high volatility slot knowing I have a decent bankroll to start with.

Playing slots is fun ,we have noticed a few times when there is a lot of footfall in the casino after an event the slots seem to be a lot looser, it has happened a few times we have won more frequent and larger wins after a show than any other time of the week is this just coincidence.Also the tip of taking a small lock box to lock up a win is a good idea came out of vegas with a 3k profit on the last visit.

Love Top Money and DDw 21 feature.. it’s actually the only double diamond my main casino has unless I wanna play it in the high roller pit which I don’t. For reference, I play at the Seminole Hollywood hard rock Hotel. If you’re down in Florida and can do a review of the games at the Hollywood hard rock hotel, that would be amazing! My problem has always been budgeting and sticking to it. The lock box idea is a great idea and I’m considering it.

I play 1 dollar at a time, as like to play as long as possible. On "penny" machines play minimum bet to get the bonus, unless the bonus will make a hand pay getting top award. Do not want anymore taxable wins, paid all the taxes I care to. Just love to play, so even though I could bet more, I do not care to, just want to play as long as possible.

Yea, it most definitely still applies. The location of casino doesn't affect the volatility of the slots. "Volatility" is based on line payouts/bonus features/jackpots. The old school 3-reel slots are low cos there's no bonus games and a pretty small paytable. The cartoony touch screen games are always high because crappy line pays and a bonus feature or multiple bonus games

Most of the low volatility slots in my area are class 2 machines. The other day I was playing a 25 cent 5 line hot red ruby with a max bet $6.25 and hit a small jackpot. and then started thinking, if I had been playing a 1 line 1 dollar hot red ruby max bet $ 3.00 that same line hit would have been half the bet and four times the pay out. So sense its a bingo game and your playing the bingo card and not the reels are you better off playing single line class 2 slots? Thanks

I absolutely HATE Huff and Puff slots...but I have a strategy, that seems to potentially work for me. I go in planning on putting $200 in the slot, but only put $100 in at a time. I start with the highest denom, but lowest bet, and do about 6 spins. If no magic happens, I do a similar thing with the next lower denom, and so forth. Normally, I'll get a bonus that doubles me up, or breaks even. Of course there is no science, but it's fun trying it. (And i know what im getting into...either a shit sandwich, or a profitable fun session!)
