What an entertaining video! I played c&c when I was a kid on my dad's pc, maybe 10-12 years ago. I only ever played single player, and I wasn't that good at it. For some reason I decided to look up "command & conquer generals tournament" today, and this was the first thing that popped up. I was thoroughly entertained throughout the entire thing!

Curious why USA Pro Players rarely use Flashbang and/or Pathfinder Vee's against GLA & China Opponents??

They use Pathfinder against China if China goes infantry rush, and against gla Pathfinders are used 90% of the time. Flash bangs are used when map has many buildings

Because Rangers are very vulnerable to all attacks and only good for capturing oil and targeting buildings

@@pom7602 Its difficult to pinpoint an exact reason, the best I can say is highly aggressive players tend to attack and try to close the game out early. Selling the CC gives a little extra money for units to either defend or attack with, Its a trade off, a difficult decision to make for china and USA as it leaves the dozers vulnerable, it doesnt really matter if your playing as GLA though because you can always make workers from your supply. Long story short you can either keep the CC and have security for dozers or sell it and have extra units early on. (Keeping the CC doesn't do you any good if you have no units to defend it; Selling it doesnt do you any good if you loose the dozers) damned if you do damned if you don't. Id also like to add a note that the CC doesnt really have much purpose in the early game as support powers only come available after ranking up so the only thing you really loose by selling it is radar, this isnt much of a problem for high level players because we use hotkeys to fast travel around the map.

Maybe it's because im not very familiar with meta in this game. I'm only just getting back into C&C because I'm hyped for Tempest Rising (hopefully) dropping this year.. But it makes no sense to me why ExCal didn't pop down a Particle Cannon or two during game 8. He had the resources to build and defend it, and it definitely would have closed the game out quicker imo. Any insight as to why they didn't use SW in game 8?

I'd like to see you bring out overlords and paladins and try to beat these guys. Clearly mobile, cheap units are the most cost effective ways to fight, so that is what the pro players use. It's not their fault that only some units are useful 😊
