I would do a test of those boards with soak in some hot Sodium Hydroxide (LYE) to remove the solder mask and see if the flash plating is over the whole board. Wear PPE (splash concern not fumes) if you do! Safety first! ✌🏼✌🏼

wow 99 Dusan what an incredible trailer load, that bag of hand held computers/scanners are super packed full of palladium & gold, i took apart a few of those exact same ones last year here in the UK becuese i was after the battery's for a project & was given the devices for electronic parts by friend, in the end i recovered all the internals for gold & palladium becuese there was so much in just 3 little hand held computers

The other end of the cable should have a small gold plated connector. Not as exciting as the big one you kept showing us, but with 500 of them it should add up quick.
