This video shows the 200th to 101st best military commanders by battles won, according to Wikipedia.
List of battles won by general: docs.google.com/document/d/19...
Battles are included only if they have a Wikipedia article
Methodology:
I used Wikipedia as a directory of battles:
1. I created a query with Wikidata Query to get the list of all articles tagged as "battle" by Wikipedia. This gives me about 12,000 battles
2. I downloaded the data that is included in the top right hand table of every of those Wikipedia article. I did it for the following versions of Wikipedia: English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Greek, Turkish, Serbo-Croatian, Japanese, Danish, Norwegian, Slovakian, Dutch, Polish, Hungarian, Czech, Hindi, Hebrew, Basque, Bulgarian, Romanian, Catalan, Finnish, Swedish, Vietnamese, Persian, Indonesian, Korean
3. I cleaned up the data on Excel to remove double entries :
4. I created an index of countries with their predecessor states:

Plus many including arab historian like ibn khaldon said the only reason the arabs won are because of the numiric advantage and not because of tactics and they stealed other culture like the syriac culture wich become a dead culture. I don't mind if you admired him because a lot of people where like that at his time and he was only better and stronger than them. But a common quote we have in the middle east : "The worst names are khalid and khild" this showed how much immoral khalid was

@@iteachyou1575 Russia surrenderd in 1917" And? Russia was the main enemy of the central powers. As you should know Austria-hungary declared war on Serbia, Russia declared war on Austria, Germany declared war on Russia and then France comes in. It has nothing to do with loosing battles. It is a fact, that Russia was the main nation. France was the main western nation. Yes, I totally agree. Russia was never saved by the allies. In fact France even supported the communists/socialists. Uh, the Soviet Union survived because of the allies and because Hitler really wanted Stalingrad, which resulted to a heavy loss. The allies were useful in this moment, because Germany expected something like D-day. That means not 100% of the army fighted the Russians. Germany never really lost land during 1914. Besides that the battles were always together. (Like France and UK fight one battle together) There are always allies in a war, so I don't know what you want to tell me. And saying, that nations should do 1v1 basically means xy nation is stronger than xy nation. And in this case, I am 100% sure, that Germany was stronger than France
