I think some more tubing needs to be added to strengthen the roll bar and define the B pillar a bit more. The window looks too high up and it worries me that there is no reinforced strength for the window. Not like a frame or anything but the inner door frame should transfer strength to and from each other. I am sure you will have enough room for the scissor window mechanism when open.

Great progress! Tony really nailed the wire frame design for the doors and Ryans panel work is just bringing this car to life. That is definitely one sexy rear end Ryan.

Looking amazing. You know I'm so glad to see you taking the time this project needs and not the 'OMG ITS TIME FOR SEMA, WE NEED TO HURRY OR LOSE THE SHOP' mentality. Loving how the door will flow into the sail panel. Good work as always.

You guys should use the morimoto Ferrari taillights that are fairly new. I’m seeing guys use them on the older 355s, 360s and they give you that cool restomod with new edge technology. Kinda like Gunther works style.

Seriously fellas the amount of thought yall are putting into it shows. The first shot of the hips, was mesmerizing. Everything is flowing so nicely. Cant wait to see the door skins but i can already see the vision with the wire frame. Tons of good angles on this thing though.

Deep Thoughts with Ryan - "If I don't Try, then I won't Do. And, If I don't Do, then I won't keep growing. And..... there's probably more insight past that but I think I'd rather just hit this with a hammer."

Dampen the flat face of the carboard using a spray bottle and water,it wont take much to soften the cardboard and it would lay down closer to what its laid on.

This was by far the most informative and interesting video yet. You eliminated the childish jokes and silly acts of the past. What you are building is a great car and it deserves to be treated as such. Keep up the good work and creative ideas along with showing us how you do things instead of socking rubber clowns!

Have you guys looked at these 3-D metal shaping machines? Like a 3-D printer only it shapes metal I saw an ad for when the other day is absolutely genius. I believe they were doing steel, but I think it would work on aluminum just as well. it was kinda take a lot of programming and stuff but it’d be interesting. If you guys could maybe find out somebody that has one or the company to bring one to you and do some work with it that would be cool. Maybe do one panel with it preview and have them sponsor the next project.

I would have thought that it would be a good idea to keep, at lest temporarily, the interfaces of the original door, and build out from that. The first ordershyould be to make sure the door closes, and go from there. Trying to build the door to the car is very difficult.

this project is really a nice project, shame about the rear of the car which completely ruins the look of the car because it is too pointed, in comparison to the ford gt and the lamborghini miura which have very powerful and wide and placed rears... this is pointed and non-existent because they are practically the rear lights that give the car a rear..
@mgibbs468Ай бұрын
It’s so slow and boring. I want to see the end result. I don’t need to see the shrinking and stretching of aluminum all the time. Maybe put two in one work faster lol.

There are a lot of distracting jump edits in this video, seems like more than in the past. Us older people, whose minds have not been altered by video games, might find it difficult to watch, at least that's the way it is for me, I had to stop watching your otherwise excellent video.
