It's a new tune I discovered this month. Extremely simple as you say, but a great melody.

@@Grendelcynn For your book, have you sought out tunes that fit the lyre, or do you sometimes change them so that they are playable with a lyre?

@@hanterdrone3868 Some I changed to fit the lyre, and some that fitted I re-arranged if I found a way I thought sounded better. It's always nice to make a tune your own.

@@Grendelcynn I guess it is. Do you teach the art of tune rearrenging?

@@hanterdrone3868 I suppose re-arranging is 2 things. One is making a tunes that have too many notes to fit on the lyre fit. And the other is changes because you think it sounds better. The latter is done by ear, you get to know a song very well and experiment with it trying a small change such as moving a note up or down, or changing a quarter note to 2 half notes. The former is moving whole sections of music, typically down 7 semitones or up 5 and a few other tricks.
