Thanks for the shoutout! :D And wow, I did not expect you to find that. Incredible! I was happily paying 5000 yen when I found it in the store. Anyway, very enjoyable episode here! Keep up the good work my friend! :)

Amazing find dude, a loose cart of that game can easily go for up to 10,000 depending on where you find it. Definitely the find of the day, week, month, and most likely year.

Now THAT is a find! Great that you don´t tease about it in the thumbnail, I was almost as surprised as you. It´s a very nice plattformer, I´ll probably never own it but at least I have it on Wii Virtual Console. Fun level design and I love the soothing music, excellent game!

Thank you Ryoma! I hope this luck continues id love to find a gem like this in each episode. Do you have another diamond in the rough story to share?
@ryoma00454 жыл бұрын
I hope so too dude! I've been pretty lucky before from finding a Virtual Boy and all but 3 games for it in the newspaper to random retro consoles at car boot sales. Best probably though was getting Steel Battalion complete in box with the expansion game for about £30 as the person had no idea what it was. Not even sure how I came to find this chap but ended up driving over to his house in the next town over, stayed to watch a football game and then went home. Was a very weird experience 🤣

Shout out to Scruffy! I saw those FDS games! 👀👀👀 I just started playing Pro Wrestling very seriously now. What an amazing game I never had the chance to play fully when I was a youngin. Nazo no Kabe is actually Breakout! by Atari. Konami did their own version of it. Bubble Bobble was a great pick up as well! Surprised it's so darn cheap over there. Great video as usual brother! I really need to start studying Japanese...

@ScruffyLookinRGB4 жыл бұрын
Oh so you are deep into the pro wrestling very cool it is the only FDS that I have that is complete. Wow i didnt know that was break out very cool love the art on it. Ive never seen bubble bobble go for so cheap so I had to snag it. Thanks for the kind words Sho. Good luck on you Japanese studies once you get hiragana and katakana down you start learning words much faster.

@@ScruffyLookinRGB Awesome awesome, can't wait when it comes to Japanese. I hope to at least have some basics down enough to travel to Japan once all of this COVID business finally goes away. And yeah totally Breakout -- the original ROM file is actually named as such in Nintendo's database, lol. Bubble Bobble can be somewhat expensive that I've seen but goes for cheap as part of lots! It prolly was very cheap due to having no cover or wax sleeve. 😀😱

Easily the find of the year, I haven't had that much success in that book off. I recommend going to the one in Otsuka, next to the station. Can't wait till I go back to Japan and go through my yamanote video game run. Are you open to some requests? Do you have an e-mail for those?

Yeah, that Doremi Fantasy for 510 yen is an absolute steal. Best I ever did was find an NES Cowboy Kid cart only locally for $5. That game goes for far, far more online, even at the time I found that copy and bought it.
