This game seems incredibly deep in terms of the variety of builds and items available. Lots of interesting decision points every run. Once the bugs get patched up, I could see this really gaining a lot of popularity as a streaming game.

I think the chest bug is EU server only, which is why you haven't seen it on other videos.

The bow is much better than the pistol. Because the pistol musticat with only two ammo , it is essentially just a one use weapon with 108 maximum uncrit damage the bow can be used multiple time per combat with 216 uncrit damage per use.

As far as I understand it has multicast *for each* ammo, it's not like it shots twice instantly and be done, it shoots twice but multicasts both.

At 27:59 to your question: As I understand it, items that don't have a timer cannot crit ever.

You need to quit out of the game before you fight your last player battle battle, and then boot up the game and hit resume. I had the same bug as you but doing so fixed it for me. I am now able to earn chests and change characters. Hope it helps :)

I think I have an idea about why you aren’t getting chests, maybe the game glitches by having you play normal in ranked? Normal says it doesn’t give rewards while ranked does, so maybe the glitch is you are stuck in normal mode

just saw a massive bug at 31:50 - 32:04 it looks like when you lose connection it rolls the buffs for the items, it was a golden lock box but it turned into just a lock box, so if this is true you can build insane build

For that to actually work you need a yoyo, belt buckle, the angler fish which activates at the start of the fight and the skill which reloads on crit. This is an infinite crit.

I think you had a lot of anti-synergy Because you were using medium weapons with the cannon so you were literally halving its potential output, small weapons would've been way better and I don't think your medium weapons were good enough to justify the difference.

This game is frustrating to me. I'm having a lot of fun, but there are a lot of doomed runs where you get nothing that works together. Probably 60% are like that but again I'm enjoying it a lot.

Her belt item helps a lot gives extra damage per crit % to 2 adjacent items and 25% crit. Throw it on the throwing knifes for insane burst damage. Got insta knifed to death on my skyscraper build so tried it myself. Very effective and more fun than scraper imo. Loses to scraper of scraper gets their shield off though and of course runs out of ammo but most things are dead by then. You cam get a skill for double large weapon damage and another for double all weapon damage as well.

Am I missing something or wouldn't have the Bayonet basically doubled the burst dmg, if it had been bought and placed next to the repeater?! The logic would be: Whenever an ammo item fires, the repeater fires. (which is all other weapons, except the Bayonet) And the bayonet fires everytime when the repeater fires. And whenever any of these weapons fire, the big cannon fires. That would have been INSANE burst dmg and Sifd be like: _"I read what it does, think about the synergy for 0.1s and then instantly foget about it again."_ LOL! kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZoaQiYyqlM-HiMksi=lgpK0LoAxiarqee6&t=2408 --------- Edit: also Sifd skipping the left most item gets lifesteal perk. The lowest I've got the insta-kill infinite damage speed down to is the one I just had it was 0.75s . I have seen a build of it that has it go off at Start of Combat but thats pretty hard to get the extra pieces outside of the stuff needed for infinite Dagger.

Great series keep it up.. Got me to buy the game, paid freakin $180 cad for it.. Hopefully it will be worth it. Been getting insanely horrible luck in my runs, often up against either an even worse burst build than yours where she kills me in 1 second, or pig man skyscraper build 1 shotting me doing 10k+ dmg.. (Somehow faced on a day 5 doing 10k... wtf). i just won doing the pingman skyscraper at the end it was dealing 84,505 damage lol.. But it can still lose to Vanessa since there is some build out there that literally does 5k+ in second.. couldnt see what it had since the fight was over so fast, but yea it exists, faced it twice. Did manage a win after like 5 losses. Didn't do that well in ranked, only got 4 wins which just gave 1 chest, not 2. Chest just gave 35 gems and a crappy cosmetic. So yea getting new chars f2p is either gonna be insanely grinding or ultra expensive... Wouldn't normally spend so much on a early beta , but the fact there offering a physical collectors edition for no xtra cost over the top digital edition but shipping seemed cool and there are hardly any PC physical collectors editions these days so went for it.

I bought this game an as normal is, well, normal, ranked is just pure evil. How TF would I beat a player avatar that has 47k damage, double cast property. Tried ranked few times and very often on day 3-4 there are guys who basicly oneshot you in first 2-3 seconds. If ranked was balanced I would like this game a lot, otherwise it's just pain to even try anything else than normal
