5000 strangers impose on Jesus. Then THIS happens | Matthew

5,000 people inconveniently show up to Jesus's quiet getaway. They all want Jesus to heal them (when he wanted to grieve alone). And then they all get hungry (when the disciples only brought 2 fish and 5 loaves). Can Jesus feed 5,000 men (plus their women and children) with the disciples' meager rations?

As I watch this video, I'm struck by Jesus' grace and goodness. He had a real problem and wanted a real rest so he could recover from it. But even so, while he was tired, grumpy, and in deep grief, he loved everyone who came to him. He made time for them. He healed them. He fed them. It's a good reminder that I need to be ready to love everyone even when it's inconvenient.
