It is not how it was 12 years back. I was a frequent visitor as i stayed in Tumkur .I shifted to Bangalore and stopped going there but recently got a chance to visit last week and felt really bad. The chutney taste has gone down considerably. They used to give a palya(sabji) type made of onion, which was YUM...but they dont do it now , instead provide a lousy sambar. So the legacy is gone.I wont visit again !!!!

Thatte idli is good, but as some have commented, this place is definitely pricey. They dont give an itemised bill - just one total amount. And both times I've been there, found they'd overbilled. Not acceptable.
