5000th Appearance 1989 - Part 1 Transport & Prep - BIGFOOT Monster Truck

Get ready for a multi-part series of BIGFOOT's 5000th appearance, which took place back in September of 1989. Indianapolis, IN played host at the 4 Wheel Jamboree that year, which showcased every BIGFOOT from that time: BIGFOOT 1-8, Fastrax, Ranger and Shuttle. This first part (filmed September 28-29) shows the trucks being transported from St. Louis, MO to Indy and then being assembled and displayed at the Jamboree, capped off by one of the best picture opportunities of 1989, which was every BIGFOOT in one place at one time!

The year was 1984, i was 9 years old, that year i'd had a canoeing accident and nearly drowned. That night i had an hour of non stop crying, as theshock was leaving my systen. After i'd dried my eyes, i vowed to my parents "i'm going to learn to swim. By october that year i was swimming. About the same time, over here in england,we started to get "BIGFOOT" commercials for the playscool toy. It went straight to the top of my christmas list. Christmas morning with my presents open, there was no sign of bigfoot. We had breakfast, got dressed, then my dad said " look under the tree, theres another present there for you" on the label it read, "to liam, well done on learning to swim, father christmas" once the paper was off, there he was in full glory, my own BIGFOOT. Pure magic, i still have him. Thanks BOB for creating a legend👍👍👍👍👍👍🤠

I wished Ford had stayed with Bigfoot. At least Bigfoot utilized Ford components and won alot with Ford. Not to mention that every time Ford released or updated a truck model , the Bigfoot trucks looked so good and represented it very well

Bigfoots 2,3,4,6,7 are not apart of the current family of trucks. Bigfoot #4 is currently being restored and the other trucks are else where around the world. As well are the Fasttrax, Ranger and Shuttle. I think the only 2 trucks that are not in the USA are #'s 6 and 9.
