Would have been far better if the graphics guy had digitised the letters from his photo rather than finding a font that was close but not correct. You did a great job of sticking them on those compound curves though :)

The new badges look great, I'm sure I'd have made a mess of that job! Well done on keeping the old Nitromoors, the new stuff is next to useless because the methyl element has been removed. I think your other viewer is right about the government service badges. Best wishes, Dean.

Yes he was correct, the bike is an AFS, dispatched in 1955 to the Ministry of Supply. Thanks for the comment, cheers Brian

To answer your question your question about the unusual the BSA tank badges I have seen them before in the 1950's. They were on my Dad's BSA M20 when restoring (posh way of saying done up a bit) it from drab WD colour, he took them off and had two brass circles brazed on the tank to fill in the holes and sprayed the tank silver and then new style stick om BSA transfers. What happened to the ole badges like yours's got lost on the move we made some years later me thinks,

Can you tell / show how to fit the rubber knee pads back on please? 1950 B31 tele/rigid

Hi, there are 2 metal plates that fit in the back of the knee pad, it is a bit tricky to fit them and they hold the rubber knee plates in shape. Try the screw first to make sure they fit and that it. Good luck

@@500dbd34 Hi and thanks. I have the metal plates fitted inside the rubber pads. Do the screws go through the rubber, otherwise I don't see how to tighten the screws?
