Love it! I've got an '05 Type-S that I bought just over 5 years ago. Those that know what these cars are really appreciate them. I've had offers to buy and random people wanting to take pictures with me and the car. LOL. Mine is Premium White Pearl. I love the black on yours. I have done no where near the upgrades that you have. A buddy of mine said that mine is mostly "stockish." Another friend had a black one that was supercharged. He was pushing close to 400 hp, but not like yours for sure.

Super informative walk around was a pleasure to watch 2 times lol. I’m buying the vacuum activated e cutout just like yours on my nhbp 2006 Rsx Type s full peakboost turbo kit. I had a turbo 8th gen si and the engine bay is so much tighter to fit a kit in there. Please bring back a older Honda build eg,ek,dc2,or the sedans db7/8 or the eg sedan or ek sedan. Em2 ehhhh....

As a 50-year car guy I've got a frame off restored 79 Camaro with a big block Oldsmobile I got a 350 Chevy in an Isuzu Amigo, mainly been an old-school muscle car guy GM guy . I just picked up an 06 RSX black on black leather bone stock. I cannot remember liking a car this much over the last two weeks of driving,. Except my Porsche 944 days.. this guy talks my language and I'm all about the exact same build,,, as soon as I get done with these 20 other projects I'm all in... I'd like to Xerox copy this..

So the rail was a off the shelf Ktuned. Oem fuel line. Theres adapters fittings to convert from stock hardline to AN. Thats what I did at the firewall. Then I added an in line aeromotive filter and ran AN to the rail.

I've had 1.... loooong time ago. In 2004. Right when the mounts came out to swap a k20 in the chassis. It was on 10lbs and destroying everything it raced! Lol... it caught on fire 1 night... and burned to the ground on the side of the road b4 the fire department could get there. :(

This is an amazing rsx build brother. I’ve boosted my rsx on stock returnless fuel lines and made 406hp. I’m just curious what injectors you’ve used to achieve 470 and do you know how much duty cycle you had left pushing it there? Wish you still had this thing

This was on some dw1000s. High 80% duty cycle. Basically max duty and still being safe. You don't wanna run injectors past 90% if you can help it. Honestly 75% max is ideal. Always go bigger if u can.lol

Price will always greatly vary. But the cheapest decent quality kit id recommend is the cx racing kit

I'll always do my best to answer questions bud. And you can't put a definite number to your question. Theres alot that goes into it. Are you buying second hand stuff brand new,mix of both. What spectrum of quality of parts. You could do a build for $2000 or 3,4 times that. All depends on how much power your trying to make and how long you want stuff to last. You need to find a happy medium. Buy quality parts, ie: turbo mani,IC injectors. The rest you can get away with buying some cheaper stuff. Find a nice used precision or BW turbo and manifold. Thatll save you big $ right there

If the compression is good in every cylinder. Your fine. Do a leak down test

Do a K24 swap and sell the motor that is in it... JDM NYC sells K24A's with the RBB head for like $650 and $850 with shipping.. Its the best move youll ever do. The K24 is just a better motor. Its a more daily friendly motor with a better powerband and you still get decent revs.. (Mine revs to 7800 conservatively).. Theres more torque and its a better motor for boost as well with the added displacement and slightly lower compression. The K24 also has beefier rods. If you pull the K20 and send it off to the machine shop for refurb, you may spend $200-300 for the head and cylinders to get refreshed, but youll likely be able to get $1K for the motor afterward.

TBH, the budget kits for the K20 have come a long way... The Humble 500whp kit is like 2-3K and comes with really good shit. I upgraded with the Ball-Bearing 5858 Precision for an extra like $400 I think.. Made 400whp on 93 and 280tq(its a K24)..

Using the Fx400 full face on mine.. Clutchmasters 12lb billet flywheel, with the Clutchmasters Hydraulic release bearing setup.. One of the best clutch setups I have ever used on a K series. Holds the power like a champ and it feels almost like a stock clutch. The engagement with the hydraulic release bearing is just phenomenal..
