I'm an RN Case Manager and have dealt with patients and their finances. Why on earth would these families trust their awarded funds to someone else? It's not difficult to manage the funds yourself. During the legal litigation during this lawsuit the attorneys could have set up their own funds investments.

Banks only insure up to $250,000. So, if the bank closes, anyone with more than that amount at that bank will only get $250,000. If you get a trustworthy company. A trust is supposed to be safer than in a bank.

A Special Needs Trust is a real trust is a trust that the government cannot touch and that can ensure that he will always qualify for any medical programs he may need and still be taken care of with the money from the trust all trust are not the same a lot of trust can be attacked and challenged in court a Special Needs Trust cannot
