Thanks for uploading this video! Really nice footage of the E8 series shinkansen running. Just wondering if you know what dictates the lead car when the E8 series is coupled with the E5 series when running on the Tohoku line?

The lead car on the train headed for Tokyo is the E5 series. The one in the back is the E8 series. Thank you for watching.

@@503nozomi I see. I always thought that the E5 series would be the lead car due to its nose shape, which reduces micro pressure waves. But I guess it makes sense to just run the train without changing the lead car to avoid the hassle of switching lead cars at tokyo station.
