Honestly those are awesome numbers for stock turbos. If you get the r/t tuning upgraded billet compressor turbos, you'd be at 570+whp easily with ethanol.

When you take into consideration the horsepower and torque loss from the crank due to drivetrain friction, you’ve got an engine that makes at least 570 horsepower at the crank! Gotta respect that you didn’t buy the red sport and still tuned it to be more powerful than a 458

Awesome numbers, I own a G37S Coupe with full bolt ons and Admintuned. Love the potential of the new 3.0T motors but the soundtrack it produces is just so underwhelming compared to the 3.7 with a proper motordyne exhaust and motordyne art pipes with admin tuning intakes. Quick question is the silver sport pretty much the better buy? I heard it makes the same power as the redsport once both cars are tuned with the same modifications.

I have a 2006 G35 sedan and a 2014 G37 sedan. I'm looking at possibly getting a Q50. Are they as reliable and fun as the g37/35? The main appeal to me is that they are fairly cheap, somewhat fast, and pretty reliable. I'm on the fence bc the 2 screen set up isn't great IMO and seems dated already (no apple carplay), and since they are now 3.0L twin turbo idk if they are as reliable. Any other cars in this class that I should be looking at?

I’d highly recommend keep the car on pump gas. Heat exchanger Lower Downpipes Exhaust Blow off valves Tune That’s all you need and the car will be reliable

Have any other Q60 owners had problems w/ the infotainment system ? Specifically, unresponsive to touch, dials, anything ? We have had our 2018 in the shop for a total of a month & the car is 6 months old. My fiance wants to push for lemon law (which, I know isnt an easy process, even in Texas) - then get a new/different one. They have updated/flashed the FW 2x - and are now replacing the ECU. I am talking w/ the GM of the dealership - but wondering if this is a "known issue". Thanks

infotainment used to have alot of issues first implemented back with the 1st gen q50s with those issues but now its usually just a stroke of bad luck. If anything alot of people are now complaining about how outdated the system is. My old 2015 q50 did show those issues every once in a while but itd go away for the most part. My 2019 q60 shows no issues now so you might have just gotten a 🍋

Friday I spent 1/2 hr on the phone with AMS regarding the new RS600 kit. New bigger turbos etc. To be announced soon. Their proto car has the Level 10 transmission kit in it. I'm very interested in this kit. 93 octaine pump gas 600 wheel HP. If I come out to get them to install maybe we can hook up. Depends on cost and daily driver impact. Can't wait it's almost ready for announcement.
