Very pretty. FYI, the reason for the resin taking up the room is because there is micro space between the shell's so the resin seeps into the spaces you can not see. It's like filling a jar with rocks, then pour sand into the jar. There is actually space left. You can still fill the jar with water and all will fit, this is actually a science experiment that was done years ago.

I love the bowl. I can see it on the bathroom vanity with maybe some cosmetics or soaps in it. Can you imagine in an aqua colour in a bathroom or guest bathroom? Its just beautiful.. I love all the extras as well.

The bowl is beautiful!. I agree with the person who spoke about micro space. There is so much empty space you don't see. Additionally, the shells are porous & absorb some of the resin. This is what accounts for the color change.

That bowl turned out so beautiful! I just love the mother of pearl too. I went to Michael's today. They only sell the small size now. They discontinued carrying the large pieces. I was so bummed. You did a very beautiful job on that , Michelle. Maybe for a idea , make it by doing your marble effect or maybe your crackle effect. Those would be beautiful too. You should get the Istoyo stand mixer so your resin mixes while you do all your other stuff. Its very handy! I love it!
