Something I find odd in these videos of coastal roadways, there always seems to be two identical power line circuits on both sides of the road, even two lane state hwys. A little strange

For local distribution, it’s probably better to run power lines across a road as little as possible. There are streets in New Orleans that have power lines running down one side of the road, and an overhead line to each building across the street. After major storms, there’s a power line in the road, or draped across trees and parked cars every 40 feet.
