I have a 2009 G8 GT and I just wanna say that there are actually 3 modes. There is standard, then throw the shift to the right for sports mode or once you throw it to the right shift it and it goes into a manual mode. You have a really nice one there.

That now how displacement works.. only way is to bore and stroke motor.. super charger doesnt add liters or displacement

Maybe not physical displacement... but technically it does add dynamic air displacement, the supercharger is flowing a set amount of air though it each revolution. We know that for a four stroke engine, for every two crankshaft rotations there will be one intake stroke per cylinder. So in 2 revolutions a 6L v8 will consume 6L of air (assuming VE is 100% just for simplicity) If you have a 1.9L supercharger and spin it at 2.5x the speed of the crank, In two revolutions it will flow 9.5L of air. Jamming that air in to an engine with only 6L of "space" will increase the air density+CFM aka simulating a larger engine. Of course there are restrictions and parasitic losses etc etc so its not the same as a 9.5L engine but you can just drop a pully size to compensate... ;)

i just bought a 09 g8 gt for 2K the previous owner was convinced it was undrivable for thousands of dollars ( I told him it wasn't a serious issue before I bought it and he may want to get a tech to tell him the issues) but he said it had to go i bought a control arm and cleaned the internals ( about 400) in fixes and it runs perfect

Nice video man. I'm on my 3rd G8 right now. Currently in the process of doing an LSA build on it. Aiming for around 550ish whp as a fun daily to and from work and school. It's being setup though to handle 600+ wheel with an E85 setup

Technically Pontiac Didnt Build it. GM Australia (Holden) did create that car. We just took it along with the GTO(Monaro), G8 (VE Commodore), Caprice and SS (VF Commodore)

Pontiac G8...exported to the US from Holden in Australia. The G8, in reality, was a LHD version of Australia's Holden Commodore...totally designed and manufactured downunder. Enjoy what is left of the G8s and Chevy SS ...Holden is no more and you will never see these cars again.

Pontiac didn't build this. General Motors did. And they still build this car (until 2018 that is...) It's called the Chevy SS. And both cars were built under Australia's Commodore by Holden. Australia has a HUGE market for powerful sedans. As a matter of fact Fiat/Chrysler STILL produce and ship the 300 SRT to Australia (and the middle East)
