You did NOT fail at Bonneville sir. As with most things in life, you have to pay your dues - and this time you made a BIG down-payment on that bill. I mean, fabricating a replacement rotary valve from an old saw blade with a rotary grinder and an angle grinder using a G-clamp and the leg of a wooden garden table as a vice - that blew me away... And to make matters even better, IT WORKED... Now go home, give your wife and children a BIG HUG and spend some quality time with them and rest up because you have a LOT of work to sort out in the next year. And speaking on behalf of at least 204k followers - WE WANT TO SEE IT ALL - and of course listen to your puzzling each of the issues out. Thanks for providing A GREAT CHANNEL to follow.

Getting there. Just remember Rome wasn't built in a day. After road racing bikes for a many years I know the climb to the summit well and it is a long and painful one but once you reach the top all regrets and doubts vanish. I lost more times than I remember, crashed many times, blew up engines and did many walks of shame but finally I got my first win in 1000cc superbikes and it was and is still the best day of my life. People don't win or break records because they are gifted or wealthy, they win because they were the ones who never gave up while all those around them did. You will get there in the end Alex if you stick at it and don't give up like so many others do when the going gets too tough for them. Or in the words of a famous Aussie singer Bon Scott of ACDC, "Its a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll"
