50hp Mercury compression test how to

Having some trouble with my motor do I decided to do a compression test.

After all the parts I threw at it, I changed out the priming bulb and it fixed everything. Lesson learned start with the cheap stuff first, just didn't think it could possibly be the bulb.

You don’t have to use the chrome attachment. I used the same tester this weekend on the same boat but 40hp. I got 115 x3 pistons after warm up. Did you figure out the issue?

paisa007 Its at the shop now to see if they could figure it out. Everything electrical read out fine, its turning out to be quite the gremlin

Worse case scenario is the Chrome Adapter threaded end is longer than the spark plug threaded end, and if it is the piston could hit it while cranking.
