Great job Steve! Thank you very much for opening up your life to others. This is great incentive for me and others to not jump in head first until we can manage it without taking on excess credit. We ended up with medical and tax bills and have been working to get those gone, it’s going pretty quick as long as I don’t create more. God bless you and Marsha.

Massive banks and businesses have been bailed out by Government. Banks that probably held your loan. I wouldn’t worry about having your debt “forgiven”. We’ve bailed them out at a much higher level.

Congratulations! You know when you get my age you will also want to have a nest egg of retirement income because I doubt that social security will meet all your needs. So I encourage you to delve bit by bit into some IRAs or mutual funds to help in your older years.

Congratulations! This is awesome Steve. I knew you would successfully pay off your debt. Also that’s a great idea to use one card to earn points and pay it off. I do the same thing. I earn the points and pay it in full every month. I look forward to seeing your future reselling videos.

Happy for you both. Glad you made headway paying off debt. People just don't seem to learn that ALL debt is bad. The debtor is slave to the lender. Hmmm. Imagine if you still did part time work and stayed busy all the time, how nice it would be to have ALL of your debts paid off, money in the bank, and someday in the next 10 years, not have to do anything you didn't want to. I know lots of people in their late 60's and 70's still working after retirement because of lack of savings and debt. We (you and I) will not have the luxury of SS that will sustain us until we die. Your roof, water heat, furnace, and A/C will not last forever. At some point, you'll need to make major spends on repairs. Who wants to go in debt for that at 60 or 70 years old?
