@@isthislove14 Why are you pointing out that? the nissan is heavy because it has the AWD system. You want it to be AWD and be as light as a RWD car? The RPM difference is exacly because one is NA the other one is turbo. You need rpm to produce power in NA engine, because you can't just increase torque in a switch like you do in a turbos. Is A LOT more impressive doing 500hp in a NA engine than 700 in turbo 3.8 liter engine.

Gt3 did really well considering it's not meant for straight line speed like the Gtr. It's made for tracks. The turbo/turbo s must be just crazy!!

991 gt3 has to be one of the coolest cars ever made. just an insane piece of engineering. An N/A flat size that's as quick as a 550bhp twin turbo Japanese monster. awesome stuff. A 991 Gt2 would destroy a gtr.

I have to say one thing the Gtr does not look ugly it as a look for that for a reason and basically it is a aerodynamic shape so it cuts through the air with ease and less drag it also has good down force as well so when some people say the Gtr is ugly they don't seem to understand aerodynamic shape and the development and tests what goes on so I understand because you do your research and watch a lot of cars design and skills involved in it and watch go programmes on TV or study fhe history of the Gtrs and other car manufacturers then you get to learn more and more if that was not so possible Gtrs would not exist or sells around the world so there is proof that the shape is not that bad as some people make it out to be thanks KZbin and I respect all people opinions because we are all different and unique in our own way peace

GTBOARD.com Yes, I didn't think about that. Yes you're right, that could be a factor on why it only won the first one. Turbo engines run hotter than N/A. But the GTR (stock) is putting less power to the ground because of the AWD, and it's heavier. So, I think the 2nd and 3rd run are really the accurate ones. Well, I could be wrong though

Actually, GT3's power claim is underrated. It is generating around 500 bhp, more or less. That's why it looks that fast, and it is. Porsche has always been conservative about their claims. It's better to overdo than underdo something.

too close to tell. First race gtr got a slight head start. 2nd race they looked evenly placed but gt3 won. 3rd race they looked even placed and were pretty much neck and neck. I guess the gt3 may be the more impressive one here with its NA engine, and power and torque being lower than the gtr. But still a perfect match up between two monsters.

The Porsche is over 300kg lighter than the GTR and unless there was a difference of power output of +100hp between the two, the result was pretty predictable. But good race nonetheless...the GT3 sounds fantastic.

+Vlad Nita That's the point, the AWD twin turbo GTR won by a half car, racing against a Porsche with 75hp less and no turbos and rear wheel drive. Even if it lost all 3 and races stayed close the GT3 wins at putting the GTR to shame.

WTF man ??? In rolling start races it doesn't matter if it has AWD or RWD , i can say that is even an advantage to not have AWD cuz the car is lighter. AWD is good only from standing start races. So the point is that the AWD system form the GT-R has NO ADVANTAGE in a rolling start race!!!!! and the Porsche has no turbolag and it's lighter has better aerodynamics!!!
