50th Anniversary Firework Display!

I got asked to do a small firework display as a surprise for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration! I was more than happy to! At this event there were approximately 150 attendees, a 16 foot inflatable water slide, a full buffet, and enough beer to satisfy a small town! Overall it was an extremely fun event and the party goers were very pleased with the display!

Thanks man! I wish we could have done a clean up video. The biggest problem with cleanup videos is we normally clean up directly after the show and it can be hard to get good video since it's so dark out. In the case of this show there was also rain coming, so we were in a hurry. Will try to get a video next time I do a show!

Depends.. I usually talk to people with lower budgets.. so I go for lower numbers.. a show like this would cost at least $2,000 but usually I would say to people if they only have 1,000 to get similar looking 200 gram cakes that look like the 500 gram cakes.. instead of Canister shells.. Balls Shells

Very good display - but quite poor timing. A display should be continuous - not like yours ... with gaps.

Thanks for the feedback as it is always appreciated. Keep in mind this was manually fired using consumer talon clips attached to the consumer visco fuse. Naturally there will be some delay there. If I had ematch available to me at the time and inserted them directly into the cakes, there wouldn't have been this delay.

+Malcolm Gill Little gaps here and there are to be expected in this type of display using consumer products. As he has said in his videos, the brief pauses also give the audience a chance to clap. I have found that it also gives the audience a chance to catch their breath and it staves off boredom and monotony. I've seen some big backyard shows where tons off fireworks and going off continuously and it become soooooo boring. So whats the point if ur going to blow ur show shooting quickly and creating sky puke?

+julian pinilla I have been shooting my families fourth of July show since I was about 14 and the main thing I have learned over the years is exactly what you described. Our budget is only about 1,200 bucks but I see some shows on youtube that make me so bored because its just insanity the whole time. If you blow your audience away within the first 5 seconds, it can only go downhill. Great show for what you were working with @joelrobinson
