Hey just a thought.. after outlining with the gold pen, what if you took your UV resin (thick high viscosity) and went over top of it? (Just where the gold pen is) it would build a better barrier helping to keep the colors separate??? May not work but it just came to me… #thoughts.. you did a fine job the way you did it though!

I have domed several projects but I have found that as they get heat from my heat mat they will run and make a huge mess. It’s frustrating. Have you had this happen to you? How do you finish your coasters, feet,cork bottoms etc.

Try to let it sit a few hours to start getting tacky before turning your heat mat on. Heat will lower the viscosity before it starts to cure it. Some coasters I will put cork rounds on the bottom, not all of them.

It’s now been 2 weeks since I’ve been able to do any resin.. Im NOT EVEN KIDDING.. When I tell you I’m going through withdrawals!!! And then you have to go and pull a stunt like this?!?? 🤷‍♀️… Pulling out all all these ABSOLUTELY beautiful glitters!!!! 😂. I can’t wait to get back home and DIG IN again! My Ky Exit got extended by a day. So now I won’t be back to Fl until Saturday…and you can believe I will be working on some goodies ASAP! 💙

I have a question about the method of outlining on the mold. I’ve been trying to do fairy/butterfly wing earrings using black acrylic on the mold so it outlines the colors. I have found that the pen is to thick and seems to go from a solid line to broken lines. I resorted to covering the whole finish resin with the paint then wiping off the excess just leaving the indentations filled in but it leaves a film of black on the piece that is hard to remove. Could you do a video making the earrings or just help me out on how to accomplish a clean pretty job.

The ashes were mixed into the glitter as the family requested. You can’t “see” them per se but I can tell they are there as it dulled the glitter down.
