Hello Ms. Michelle, I'm playing catchup on videos. My husband had a stroke and was also diagnosed with AFib back in July. He is home after being in the hospital for a week and we are paying close attention to his vitals. It's going to be a bit of a road to recovery. He still has more tests to have done. The day before he went into the hospital I had finished wearing a heart monitor for 2 weeks. I will get my results next week. I just want this year to be over already. My brother passed in May a year after we lost my mama. Then 2 weeks later my last Auntie passed away. Our son has been having really bad behaviors for about the last 3 months almost daily. My health hasn't been all that great. I like the green & blue one with the swirls. Love the heart in the heart. Oooo I love the paint skins! I have 61 videos that I have given a thumbs up on. 😁😁TFS! So much fun! Love them all. Faves were acrylic skins and butterfly keychain. You can also use glass cabuchons with the skins. I think that person I saw used like a glossy mod podge to glue them. Of course that takes more time to dry but you can do multiples at a time. Happy resonating! Lol

I love what you are doing. The teardrop with the skin is similar to what I do with glass cabochons and photos. I use E6000 for all of my adhesives.

I love all of them, but that double heart makes mine flutter. 😁. With the acrylic skins, you also glue them down with the E-6000 or some other good glue. When it’s dry, then cut around it. Of course, you’ll need more time as the glue has to dry.

Trying to find a certain video here Michelle. There's a mold, a pendant with some extras you did but said you weren't sure what they were. They are called a topographical mold. You do them and then put them in their corresponding mold then fill that. I wish I could explain better. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure if anyone suggested but maybe try the magnets under the mold so the magnetic particles are pulled to the front of the cab, and maybe will make the effect more visible. (I haven't finished the video so apologies if you try that later in the video.)

I use 99% alcohol in a spray bottle like we do for epoxy to pop bubbles in my uv resin. It works.

I'm thinking to achieve the x on the cats eye that you will have to do it from the bottom of the mold. Opposite from doing nails because the bottom of the mold is the top of the pendant. Great video btw!👍

These all turned out Beautiful! I do acrylic pours and have made a lot of pendants from my skins. I use “Diamond Glaze” water based adhesive and it works great for gluing the cabochon to the skin.

If your cabochon is just a bit too small for your flat backed bezel, you can paint it black, gold, silver or whatever before gluing it in. If you center it, it gives it a tiny border. Barely noticeable

Very beautiful Michelle. I use to be a nail tech. And would like to make a suggestion. The ones you put the black nail polish on the back, i would maybe put s thin cost of uv resin or clear nail polish to protect them. Without any protection the polish can peel off.

I have discovered that, even when cured for days, E6000 will come lose if it gets too hot. I have had it happen twice now. Once with a keychain, I left in a hot car, the other was a rear view mirror charm.

They are the left over paint from some of my friends paint pours. She pours them thin and lets dry to use for “extras” 😁

Instead of risking your nail polish brush touching the resin, why not try dipping a cocktail stick into the polish instead, then you could perhaps use another stick to scrape a drop off and into the resin?

Such great ideas! As to the "x" effect, I think if you move the magnets straight up from the piece without pulling them apart, instead of moving them sideways, it will keep the "x" form.

The paint skins definitely wowed me and feel I need to ask some art teacher friends if they do paint pours. One more thing, on some other channel I have seen where you can use a black sharpie or paint pen (that would be my preference between the two) and color the bezel base. That works for those like me who don’t have the uv gel polish. I loved this video. Thanks for all the time you spend showing us “how-to”. Blessings to you.

Sure you can use whatever you want to paint the back. I would cover it in resin no matter what you choose though 👍
