Michelle thank you for making videos. You have helped me more then you know over the past week especially. I woke up from a 9 day coma about 6 days ago and im relearning to walk and have staples down the entire length of my abdomen and being in the hospital is very depressing especially after and while I'm going through all this so you videos make me smile and give me something to look forward to everyday and you are always so happy and positive which is very contagious so your positively and being happy all the time rubs off on me which is helping push me to start walking again and do what I need to do so I can finally go home soon. So thank you so much and keep up the amazing videos

Hey Michelle, I wanted to give you some feedback, as a retired floral designer (worked at Michaels, Joann's, Leewards which was bought by Michaels, and a few others that are not as well known); I think you did a beautiful job with your floral arranging. You're very creative. The only thing I would suggest is a little greenery in the background (for future projects). Oh, and BTW, those tiny dried flowers that you like that look like fireworks, are Queen Ann's lace, that are dyed lots of colors because Queen Ann's lace are white. Keep up the fabulous work. I just love watching your channel.❤

Thanks! And I almost put greenery in this one!!!😑😑😑😑😑😑
@hollylowery263 ай бұрын
You could try arranging your flowers upright in the mold. Then kind of fill the mold with wadded up newspaper or tissue paper. Set a tray over the mold and dump everything out. Then you would have the right general area for the flowers. 🌼 🌸 🌻 🌹💐 😉 The bubbles in the flowers look like water drops.

The hands turned out fantastically, what an awesome way to remember your child. ❤❤❤ Is there any way you could make a thin layer of resin, maybe slightly curved, to fit just above the palms of the hands? Just to fit the lettering.. The clock turned out really well too. Well done ❤ ❤😊

You'll find the bead molds really easy to unmold actually! Gotta be careful about bubbles but you're really good at keeping those to a minimum. I'm excited to see what you'll do with them! That lacy tape might've been a nice touch around that clock as well! The hands turned out very special. Thank you 🩷
@trishasmith23033 ай бұрын
This may be a dumb idea, but maybe you could do a striped tumbler or tray with the big floral washi tape and encapsulate the tape between layers of resin. Or do like a scrapbook/journal theme coaster set. Idk 🤷🏾♀️

Look up Sola Flowers. I haven’t used them in resin, but I have dyed them before. You can use silica gel and acrylic paint to dye them. There are lots of tutorials on KZbin. I imagine they would work in resin even better than dried flowers because they will not flatten and collapse like dried flowers. I may see if I can use some in a resin project.

I love the hand mold, Michelle you have a heart of gold, your thoughtfulness knows no bounds, and the clock is just beautiful, and you're right the bubbles look like they belong there in fact they look kind of like water droplets. Just beautiful.

Oh the hand’s turn out amazing, I really like the layer look. Love hear clock mold. It looks great. I have some wooden flowers, I have not used them in resin yet. The ones I have are colored dyed and I would be very careful to seal them first, clear spray, resin etc. before placing them in resin. wood creates tons of bubbles and I would suspect the dye is not colorfast. ❤

Michelle, I just watched a video with Shelia @reptiles and resin. She just made a clock using crystals. She made it with resin but put the crystals in and didn’t cover the center with resin. So you can use the mold face up.

If those “timber” flowers are the same there as they are here, I have some tulips, they’re like a balsa wood but I reckon the colour would come out in the resin. Just my thoughts, I might be wrong. 🥰
@raquelromano53103 ай бұрын
For the bead molds, I kind of pull the edges of the mold (the outer rectangle, not at the bead openings) to pop the openings from the cured resin. Then I push from the bottom bulge of each bead and they pop right out. Basically, if you get a little bubble of air around the top of each hole, it’s easier to pop them out from underneath.

Michelle, I love making beads, my molds are easy to get the beads out and it’s nice to have just the colors you want. Do you know where the key chain components came from? I think they will be very pretty and unique. I always pour some resin into the mold then dip my flowers before I put them in. You know I love my wood flowers but, I have never tried them in resin. However, I am trying to save up enough money to make a small round table with a wood inlay and the flowers would look awesome! Your clock is gorgeous. I learn something new everyday watching you!

I have most of those bead molds. They really aren’t that difficult to demold even though the hole is small. They’re pretty stretchy. I squirted some alcohol in one and pressed up from the bottom.
