52” Harbor Breeze Moonglow Ceiling Fan

Recorded on April 9th, 2024.
This fan is in Polished Brass finish, has 5 glossy Mahogany blades, it has a 4 Lights light kit, it has an Uplight, it has 4 40w clear incandescent light bulbs on the downlight, it has 4 4w clear incandescent light bulbs on the uplight, it has 2 Clear and Brass Diamond pull chains, the UL sticker says March 2006, and this fan is from October 2006.
The blades are reversible, they are glossy Mahogany and glossy Medium Oak.
Parts that are not original to this fan: 5 motor housing screws, 4 motor screws, and 2 pull chains.
Those screws were missing so I had to get new ones.
The pull chains are not original to this fan. This fan came with those pull chains when I got it. The original pull chains would be oval Harbor Breeze pull chains, but the owners probably decided to get those pull chains instead of the original ones.
This fan did not come with bulbs on the downlight so I got 4 new ones on it.
This fan came with 4 incandescent bulbs for the uplight but all of them burned out so I got new ones for it.
When I got this fan from Habitat, it was sitting outside, so I decided to picked it up and restore it. The mounting bracket was a little damaged so I had to hammer it to bent it back to shape and now it’s fixed. This fan was a little bit clean but I cleaned it more to make it look good.
This is the 54th fan that I’ve restored for Habitat.

This was also known as the Wolcott at one point.

Yep. Wolcott’s were sold in 2010s and Moonglow’s were sold in the 2000s. Wolcott’s has teardrop harbor breeze pull chains, and they had candelabra sockets on the downlight. This fan is from 2006, it has an oval harbor breeze logo, and it has medium base sockets on the downlight, so this is a Harbor Breeze Moonglow. One time it had oval pull chains but someone decided to put diamond pull chains on them when they had this fan.

This is probably one of my favorite fans! It is really beautiful! Great job! I do have a question: Do you know how much Habitat will price a fan like this? How much they will sell it for $ ?

When are you going to fillm the lystead on your test rig

I’m not sure, because pretty soon we are going to put that fan in our living room and I might can demonstrate it from there, but I don’t know when it will be there.
