The best historical kdrama i watched is Red sleeve. I'm watching this drama for the 4th time and I will Watch it again and again in the future too even if it makes me cry. Their love story is beautiful and tragic. They truly loved each other but faced lots of complications because of their status. I wish they was born in the modern age as lovers.

‘River where the Moon Rises’ one of the best period dramas. Na In Woo 👍 ‘My Country, New Age’ is also brilliant, the male actors who play the two friends, having each others back, despite all odds, do such a fabulous job. Neither series get the credit they deserve.

Think you missed The Royal Gambler, starring Yeo Jin-goo, which I personally think covered the rise to the throne of Yeoning-gun (King Yeongjo, Joseon's longest reigning King at 52 years) better than Haechi did.

In the ancient Korea (Chaoxian朝鮮 ). It was two different ethnic groups. Chinese (Han Ethnic) and Korean (White Clothes Ethnic) Ruler and nobleman (Goguryeo , Baekje, Silla , Goryeo, Joseon=Chaoxian朝鮮 ..): Chinese local officials and nobles (royal members, monks, scholars, soldiers, architects, technicians, and their families ...). They are Chinese (Han) and their descendants born in the local area. They have always wore China in China costumes. They speak Chinese language (official and Han dialect) and Chinese characters. They are Chinese officials and represent the Chinese emperor's governance of the ancient Korean Peninsula (朝鮮). Civilians and slaves (Goryeo, Joseon=Chaoxian朝鮮 ..only appeared in history after the 13th century): Civilians and slaves are indigenous Koreans (White Clothes Ethnic). They speak Korean language. Long -term banned learning and use of Chinese characters (except a few descendants of mixed with Chinese people). They can only use Korean characters (after the 15th century. Chinese officials and scholars who settled on the Peninsula. Use Chinese characters and Korean language to create "Korean characters".).). Writing history is the tradition and habit of the ancient Chinese. The history of the ancient Korean Peninsula was written by classical Chinese. This was read for the Chinese and must be approved for the Chinese emperor. This is a record and governance story of Chinese officials and nobles on the ancient Korean Peninsula.

Most of what you selected was historical fiction. Next time choose some actual historical figures.

If "most" was historical fiction then by definition some actual historical figures were chosen, and perhaps rather more than you may realise. Do you only watch dramas based on, or actually mirroring, true life events? By all means question the use of the word "historical" if you want, but a slightly less blunt tone might help. Don't forget that merely reflecting known historical names and events would make for fewer, and somewhat shorter, dramas. A little licence is permissible, and none of the dramas claim to be something they are not. You are not the sole arbiter of what should be included, after all.

South Korean historical dramas copy Chinese historical dramas by wearing clothes and headdresses that never appeared in Korea history. Many years ago, your Korean drama crew started to go to China to buy props that the Chinese crew did not want and shoot TV series in Chinese city Hengdian. Now there are even cultural relics of China's Han Dynasty in the Korean TV series. You Koreans even copied the whole Hengdian, but Hengdian is all Chinese style architecture, totally different from Korean architecture. You not only copy Chinese architecture, but also copy Chinese interior decoration. I just want to ask when you have got those Chinese style things? Have you seen them before? Don't you have your own traditional architecture in Korea? Didn't you say love your own culture? Why copy China?
