@pixelspring there are TONS of non-violent games, such as tetris, jambo safari, brave firefighters, crazy taxi, daytona, outrun, DDR, project diva, etc... It's funny that people tend to focus just on the violent games but ignore ALL the non-violent games. i hope you get as upset with FOOTBALL a truly violent game that is REAL as opposed to obviously FAKE.

@pixelspring For a generation now? Violence has always been the primary form of entertainment in the human race, just look to the past for hunting, gladiator arenas, etc... This is just a form of violence where no real creatures are harmed, surely this is better than fox / pheasant hunting or bringing back gladiator battles?

Not all games are about that, just as not all movies are either. If you think they are then you have a very limited view of video entertainment. I see nothing wrong with it though. People like to do things in video games that they can't normally do in real life such as shoot zombies, Nazi's, robots, ninjas, etc.. If you don't like these games than that's fine too. Just stick to games that don't include those things.
