楓の木は硬いですね白肌で美しいけれど糸鋸歯がなかなかゆうことを聞きません出来上がった作品はとてもきれいです。大きな楓は初めて見ましたありがとうございました。

楓材は、そば打ちの麺棒に最適かつ最高です！ 木目が緻密でサンドペーパーで仕上げたら、ツルツルです！ 使用後のメンテは、軽くサンドペーパーをかけるだけで🆗です 少し、材が欲しいですね！

夫婦レンジャーさん　お待ちしておりましたよー 楓　　切り口見ると　確かに肉のみっしり詰まった色白美人ですねぇ・・・ボウリングのレーンも楓でしたっけ・・・白蛇様　なるほど・・・・ 製材は注文受けてする場合と、展示用板材商品を作りこむ場合があるんでしょうね。 これだけ太い材ですから、板にしても多少は置かないと変形も出るんでしょうね。仕上げの面削りすると推察。 桃レンジャーさん　重い物支え、運び続けて腕の力がついちゃいますね（笑） お二人はフィンガーサインで会話ができ、それを見てるこちらは素敵なお二人だなぁと感心しています。 楓の白蛇様　見事な白い肌ですね！

ねこねこさんいつもコメントありがとうございます♪ 注文を受けて製材する場合もありますが、うちの場合は丸太を仕入れた段階ではあてがないものがほとんどです。 仰るとおりでここから数年間は自然乾燥させます。 妻は最近は肩に湿布が欠かせなくなっています。（笑） これからもぼちぼちでがんばります☆

Maple leaves can also be used to reduce wrinkles. Pack in a kettle and cover with water, bring to a boil and then let cool. use a cloth soaked in the water over the area you want to be wrinkle free. Have not tried this myself but have read of this working very well.

Good question☆(*^_^*) About once every three months. Sawdust becomes bedding for nearby cows.
