2 years in a row Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn (DC) have had head coach offers, but decided to stay. Glenn even interviewed with the Titans in Jan 😂

Ben Johnson has commented on the HC job. He said he isnt in a rush to take the job just to take the job. He said everything has to make sense - commenting on not only like what team but what the ENTIRE organization is like from the Owner down to the players. He said he loves doing what hes doing where hes doing it. He said his wife asked why didnt he take a HC job and he responded with "Why try to out-happy happy" .. So I think he will stick with the Lions for a bit longer, Eventually of course hes going to leave us but I dont think its going to be next year, he stuck around this year with us saying he had unfinished business and if the Lions make it far in the playoffs he might just stick around a bit wanting that ring because he has been such a crucial part of our success and he deserves that ring here if we get one soon cuz he put that work in.

Lions offense coordinator said that he just got a taste of victory in the playoffs, he wants to see it through, which was why he turned down the head coach job for Seattle over the off season.

Ben Johnson will always be looked at for HC jobs now. I BELIEVE he’s happy where he’s at. He had a few interviews before this year and it was reported that he would have to be offered more than basically every coach AND it be the right job 😂😂😂.

life long lions fan..... i really appreciate that even the rivals appreciate that the lions deserve a bit of the spot light after being the titans in this game for so long,,,,,, also the one loss to the bucs was the lions having a slow start to the season..... they didnt really start playing lights out until week 4 and have found their rhythm since then...... should be a really good game against the packers sunday..... i wish both teams were 100% healthy to really battle it out...... but it should still be a good game regardless..... intrested in what they will do with love.... i want him to play but also dont want him to be even more injured before the bye week

I wouldn't even say the Bucs stopped the run as much as we just stopped running it. Our entire Offense was rusty, as they had not played a single snap together in the preseason, really.

I'll tell you what happened that second game, and it wasn't as much Jared Goff, as it was a coaching decision, I believe. After the shaky start vs the Rams, Jared was definitely rusty, after not getting any snaps in pre season. They threw the ball double what we usually do, and ran way less then we usually do. This then takes away play action etc. It's not even like we were forced to throw, I think the coaching staff was just trying to get some reps in for Jared.

The bucs game, was more coaching than Goff. For some reason in a close game, they abandoned the run, and theew 55 times. It was a real un- Ben Johnson type game. Since then, they've played with a much more balanced attack

Our defense was really tired all of the offensive drives were not that long we only have 25 minutes on offense compared to their 35 minutes on offense so I'd like to say that's why the defense play iffy although they did get four takeaways

Hate to tell you, but Tampa Bay was a game plan mistake… Their entire secondary was out and Vita Vea terrorized lions rushing attack in the playoffs last year. Goff needs the rushing game established to be at his best, and they tried to force the ball through the air, which I doubt will happen with Jaire and Xavier playing

I realize now that it wasn't that I didn't like Green Bay... It was that I didn't like Aaron Rodgers. Nothing but respect for the Packers now. The Lions need a speedy edge rusher when we play at Lambeau and I am surprised they haven't acquired one yet (at least at the time of this posting). Even when playing the Titans, our defense was getting picked apart to a degree. And I don't think that your Packers are going to be as permissive to our offense and special teams.
