I do prefer the new notes.. If you fold the notes they stay straight in the tin.. 😊 Great amount saved. You've done amazing.. At least you only tore a tenner and kept your fingers intact ❤❤

That tin did not wanna open. It was showing itself. I have a money tin, and this is making me scared lmao. My notes have to be the same way. The banks like giving me notes facing all types of direction. Don't speed it up I love the asmr of the cash unfolding. I've not done any savings challenge. I think it's because I'm focusing on paying down debt. I think you have about £1000. Omg I can so relate to you with the loss in a short period of time. Well done on your savings ❤🎉

One idea might be to just maintain it as a family fund...a holiday, day trips, or whatever and roll over anything that's left into Christmas. That way, you can boost everyone's mood as needed throughout the year.

DAYUUUUM!!!! Girl since my hubbie is gone I’m broke. I wouldn’t even be able to save a dollar! lol. I’m thinking I’m going to go ahead and file and start getting spousal support. He just left in the middle of buying a house and after 15 years. So yeah anyway I think you should either use it to put away from January thru March for the 52 week challenge this year and go do something fun with the kids and take lots of pics with the rest!!! Or I’m not sure how your Christmas binder works but do that fill up the January thru first week in March and spend the rest on something fun and memorable with you and the kids. ❤❤❤❤❤

I’m in the same mindset right now. I am going through the loss of loved ones and I feel like if they were here, they would’ve bought that Item or whatever for them. I know that it is not logical to think that way.

It really makes you think though doesn’t it, so many wasted lives without having done what they wanted to do in their lifetime 😢 I now try not to waste money of silly things but instead my mindset is to travel and make memories
