Same issue with the color change every time i turn it back on and off. There's gotta be a way to save it right? Too it has a home burgher mode, which i assume is supposed to turn the light on and off to signal for help? Mine does nothing when pressed
@jochoudhry47072 ай бұрын
I was wondering if you figured out how to set the light temperature?
@dustinbrownsongs2 ай бұрын
@jochoudhry4707 unfortunately no. It would seem that if you set it to the color you like, it will stay on that color as long as you don't do a quick flip of the light switch. Comparing its operation to some other similar lights i have, that is how it is designed. Quick flip the light swith to change the color or use the remote. Then, if you turn it off for more than 20-30 seconds, the next time you hit the switch, it will be on the last color you had it set to. Hope that makes sense.

What size batteries does the remote for this fan take? (I am assuming the fan / remote do not come with batteries to power the remote) Thank you in advance 😊

Does light operate with normal wall light button as well? Thanks
@NeedWantBuy Жыл бұрын
Yes, if the light switch is properly connected to the fan's junction box, it will work just fine.
@stephenthatsme1562 Жыл бұрын
I installed this (Brand: Obabala) Everything worked fine, but the light and my existing light switch. If you have the light on and the wall light switch on, and turn the wall switch off, when you turn the wall switch back on the light will not come on. You have to initiate the light from the remote. Terrible design.

I have the same fan and the decorative canopy to hide the wires will not screw into place? Just spins freely, plz help!
@NeedWantBuy Жыл бұрын
If I remember correctly, the screws you need to screw the decorative canopy are pre-screwed into the base. If you remove those, and then slide up the canopy, you will have screw holes to mount the canopy to. If you roatate your canopy around, see if you can see screws under any of the mounting holes. If so, you will need to unscrew those and reapply the decorative canopy.

How low does it hang from the ceiling? I don’t know why i’m having difficulty finding it. My old fans are flush mount so i’m worried this might be too low?

It has a 5 and a 10 inch down rod. If using the 5" downrod, the bottom will be 16" from the ceiling.

can this ceiling fan be fitted to an 8 ft ceiling height?
@NeedWantBuy2 ай бұрын
If you use the 5" downrod, it will hang 16" below the ceiling. Giving you 6' 8" of clearance. Our bedroom has 7' ceilings, so we put in this low-profile ceiling fan and really like it: amzn.to/3Y5NCCP If you find yourself needing more than 6'8" of clearance in that room, I would consider a low-profile one like the one above. 😊

To set colour Temperature Setting - Select the color by a quick switch. Once you get the color , let it stay for at least 6.5 seconds then turn off it. Do not turn on the light immediately after turning off the light, as it also takes 6.5 seconds to remember the color you selected. After 6.5 seconds you will find that it will be the color temperature you selected last time.

To anyone else that has one of these - every time I turn the fan light on, it alternates between one of the three hues (soft white, bright white, and daylight). Any suggestions on how to make it turn the same light hue on each time?

Mine is blinking do you know why
@NeedWantBuy11 күн бұрын
If your newly installed ceiling fan is blinking, it most likely indicates a loose connection within the wiring, either at the fan itself or at the wall switch, which can be caused by improper installation or loose screws.

How is the experience with the light?
@NeedWantBuy Жыл бұрын
I like the light! The remote makes adjusting it easy and the different color temperatures are a really nice feature! The last ceiling fan I installed only had one color temp, so this one is pretty cool!

@@NeedWantBuy Ahh good to know that! As I’m replacing the current light source with this, and after which this will be the only light source in my study room. So will it be a good option?
@NeedWantBuy Жыл бұрын
In the room I installed this, I have the ceiling light as well as a little reading lamp. The two are plenty to light the room. The warmer color temps of the ceiling fan are nice to use when reading at night. It helps me with migraines, then switch it to brighter white during the day. If it's a smaller room this light should be plenty, but a little reading lamp would never hurt in a study room! 😄

@NeedWantBuy Жыл бұрын
Hi there. I installed this for a friend at their house. I can't make an updated video, but maybe I can help. The blue cable is the light power, black is fan power, white neutral and green ground. You'll connect the blue and black wire of the fan to the black power supply wire, the neutral white wire to the white wire and the green ground wire to the exposed ground wire of the power supply cable. Tighten them together with wire nuts and you're good to go!

I worry about some of these Chinese no named brands are not UL listed, or even ETL listed. If they are manufactured with sub standard parts you would never know it could cause a fire if the motor burns up not home. When you buy from well known stores in the US they have liability to sell UL listed products Hampton Bay is UL Listed not easy to get a UL listing.
