#520 Balance Rock County Park Twin Falls, Idaho

RV life and adventures with The Nomadic Ramblers :
South of Buhl near the Salmon Falls Creek Canyon stands the famous Balanced Rock.
Over 48 feet tall and 40 tons, the wind-carved rock balances precariously on a pedestal only 3 feet by 17 inches. The trailhead for Balanced Rock is located just west of the Balanced Rock Park. The parking lot is only a few hundred feet away from the rock. It is a quick, but fairly steep climb to get to the top. There is little shade near Balanced Rock, but sunrise and sunset are stunning. It is also a great place for dark sky photographers.
The nearby Balanced Rock Park is an excellent spot for a picnic or camping. The beautiful Salmon Falls Creek and Canyon are an oasis in the desert.

The river is actually Salmon Falls Creek. It rises in northern Nevada, is dammed to create the Salmon Falls Creek Reservoir, then flows north and joins the Snake River. The more famous Salmon River, or "River of No Return" is 100+ miles north of Salmon Falls Creek.

The Nomadic Ramblers Girrrl, In New Mexico a couple of weeks ago the highest was 109 and I was dying. I received in the mail a gift for my friend because I was telling her what I was dealing with and she sent me a special cloth did you wet and helps you stay cool so that’s what I used to survive those two weeks of heat. LOL, I am here complaining about the weather in New Mexico and the weather in Arizona is even worse I think the highest was 119. Anything over 100 I’m dying ha ha stay cool guys and stay safe keep sending us videos and photos I really love that place. Someday I’ll go visit it.

Take it from me it's easy. Yes I'm the one that flys the drone not Mr. C. 😁 My first drone was the F 11 pro. I love it too but, it's only has a 2 gimbal camera but it's 4k. It takes great photos. I didn't like the Jello effect that it has with the video. So, a friend sold me his mini and it's the best for me. There's no calibrating you just turn it on set it down and fly. The mini is a 3 gimble so it takes great video in 2.7k the photos are great too. I did my research and for a beginner this is a fabulous drone to start with. I have flown it almost daily so that I could load some decent video. Go fly don't be afraid. Have fun. 😁🤗
