but what happens when there are no good moments and its all just pain and hurt and sickness .. what then . I'm lost .. idk what to do .. I'm 17 months clean .I cant stand it . I pray to god that I can be forgiven and to find peace and for help but idk god maybe has helped me get clean though that's what i wanted more than anything . 14 years lost to the streets .. my brother is dead and all my friends are dead.. or on their way to dying a young death .. You cannot fully imagine (none of us can to start with, I couldn't) how much your life will steadily improve day by day. But try to imagine it. And feel in your body and mind what that would feel like. You have suffered so much. And you have learned from your past. But you will no longer be defined by it. A daily practise of some kind, rain or shine, is very helpful to maintain this. But none of us can do this alone. So surrender to the light and love that is now coming your way.
