@carlmanley2008 I think someone already mentioned this, but this track/album, along with all of Loose Ends' stuff and some of Five Star's mid-80's hits, were produced by Nick Martinelli, a Philadelphia (like me) native who created his amazingly distinctive sound/groove with a Fairlight synthesizer/drum machine. IIRC, Loose Ends recorded most of their stuff at Sigma Sound Studios in Philly.

This is the track that you couldn't wait to hear on the radio so that you could tape it; especially during a Saturday night when they played the long mix versions.

i said back in late 1985 this brilliant uk band from the north west 52nd street produced by the man nick martinelli saying that back in the day the competion was no letting up the talent was superior no disrespect to the artists of today to me the us kept our artists back then came in the late 80s uks finest soul to soul that brought one nation under a groove with our own identitity uk rnb soul beats etc

@Shawn Kurland Nick Martinelli's crew also used the Yamaha DX7, minimoog and Roland JX-10, especially the DX7 which is in this song and many many others from the mid-late 80s...
