I love how you dress to match your surroundings. I remember when cross stitch was big in the 80s and my mom and I could shop at a half dozen shops just in our area. Unfortunately, I am now living in an area that has none closer than several hours and a ferry away. Lots of great names from which to choose for your new sampler.

I am anxious to see your market releases...I love the quote for the Reproduction Sampler, and thought about titles: "The Joy of Work", "Joyful Work", "A labor of Joy", " A Joyful Life"; ....I have always expressed the thought that work, whether it be housework, gardening, parenting, teaching, creating, etc. can bring great joy if we do it for the right reason and with the right attitude. The joy of giving & serving others can bring a wonderful sense of encouraging & contributing, and the results give the laborer great joy! See you next time!!

Hello Judy! Lovely to see all the small motif patterns there as I’m currently very close to finishing the French Country Stocking #170 in beautiful variegated deep reds as on the chart. The name on the sampler you showed is indeed in German: the two dots above the ‘a’ is called an ‘umlaut’ which essentially changed the pronunciation of the ‘a’. That’s kind of a quick explanation. I have a feeling that the letters across the top are the starting letters of a prayer (not the Lord’s Prayer) or saying but it’s just not coming to me. I’ll be heading to the back of my brain to try to find out!! Thank you for doing this episode twice for us ❤

I just received my Bluebirds of Happiness pattern from Keepsakes and now want to do the needlebook. I think I might be able to finish it myself! (I hope) Thank you for walking us through and explaining the steps. I have saved this video to my list to refer back to. Your sweet pattern reminds me of my grandmother. She would love it so much.
