Michelle, just make a mold for the little flower out of 1 of the flowers you still have. If I can't find a piece I like or need I make my own with clay and then make a mold from it. Love the key chains, very pretty.

Michelle!Just a suggestion for protecting your shelf for the light! I put a layer of cling wrap on the shelf. It keeps the resin from sticking to the shelf and extremely easy to clean. Just replace it. I use mine until it starts to rip. Easy Peary.

You can buy the flower molds and cast your own little flowers. Ive even made my own mold to cast the ones you bought. Love the terrazzo look. 😊❤ To protect my shelf i cut a silicone translucent mat for it.

I buy a roll of chain to use when making my key chains. I also buy keychaines that have chain. Much fater then building with jump rings. Btw, the tools you use are jewelry tools.

If you use 2 needle nose pliers, one in each hand, to close the jump rings, it's so much easier to do. These turned out very nice.

It's hard to sand both sides when the item is so thin to begin with. I think they're awesome. I do mine just a little differently but everyone has their own way of doing things 😊. @@glitznglitterbymichelle1 no probably not any easier lol. But I use curved pinchers and straight pinchers together to open and close the links. Before I close the current Iink I'll put another closed link on so I don't have to open all of them. So every other one I would open. Hope this makes since 😂😂😂. I also only use stainless steel because it's a sturdy metal and doesn't tarnish. I originally started using it too because I heard more people can wear or touch it because of allergies. Come to find out some are allergic to this as well. Go figure 😆. ✌️❤️🤣 peace, love and happiness

Oh I wish I had your patience. I was just making keychains the other day and said why do these take so long. The small fidely things take the longest. But as you were putting these together, I kept saying why doesnt she buy the keychain ring that has the chain already, it would save time. They are beautiful. Michelle ❤. what I do to save time is to pre make the chains. It is a huge time saver. anytime I have a free second I do that. sometimes I even just make one massive long chain and then take a piece the size I need as I need it. also get two pair of pliers and open a hundred of the same sized jump rings all at once. easier with two pairs of pliers. then just take one open ring and one closed and so on....it goes sooooo much faster hun.

I love the look of terrazzo, but I always feel like there is too much waste from them. The keychains are beautiful, though! Makes me want to buy something, so I can get a keychain. Too bad, my hubby would kill me if I spent money right now. LOL! 😅 My keychains, earrings, and pendants are all "on hold" for now, just because I don't want to do the sanding. They are pretty hard now, I am sure.

I ended up having to buy a new dual uv lamp because my tray was beyond repair. I’m going to wrap my new tray in plastic wrap to protect the tray . Hoping that will help

If ANYTHING I’m guessing it would have to be royal icing which dries extremely hard. But when the resin heats I think it would still melt 🤔

Michael’s is actually phasing the mix to mold and products out of their stores so most of them don’t carry any of that stuff anymore. You can get the powder online for now but they don’t even have the pigments or anything anymore.

Resincrete dyes work to color any casting powders . I use perfect cast. It's $15 for 4lbs. It's not stark white but when it fully dries it's white enough. I usually dye it anyway. It's 5 times harder than plaster of Paris.

There is sealant and/or wax to finish off the product. It’s supposed to be a matte finish & not shiny with resin.

Aren’t you supposed to use water and water sandpaper when sanding? I’ve never seen anyone use this without water. And you need ppe. You don’t want to inhale the powder.
