I spat out my tea when you asked for 'any ladies that want to apply for the van suspension testing...please apply....no seriously...apply'.....LOLLOL!!!! David you crack me up!!! You know, your vlog Q and A 's are extremely well done, and I am in complete awe at how you manage to amuse, yet keep your private life...private. I love the way to never take yourself terribly seriously, and your self humor is both enchanting ....and relatable! Keep doing what you are doing! ~

Didn't only watch this video but also the previous two. I have no interest in ever using a camper van or canal boat. I just like watching David muse and comment and living these boat/van experiences from the comfort of my sofa. Same goes for everyone who religiously watches a particular KZbinr/channel. It's not so much the content but the presenter.

Would you ever rent your van out…reply nope. My response to that question was snort. That’s a dumb question. You didn’t buy and convert this van so you could rent it to people…lol. You did all that work, so you could enjoy your van yourself and share some of what you do with it with your KZbin audience, which we are quite happy with. Hope you’re enjoying your van how you want to enjoy it, and I hope that you don’t have further troubles with your van on your journeys to come. Ben from Australia 🇦🇺

Yes, I (happily) survived all three. I should probably scroll the comments and see if there is either a 12 step program (are those a thing in England?) or, preferably, a celebratory party for those of us who have done so. BTW, a merchandise thought. If the gin is good, perhaps the cheese doesn't have to be. Thanks for your entertaining style, I really am enjoying the new video series a great deal.

Hello David, yes, I have watched all 3 Q&A episodes and enjoyed every minute of them. Found them to be very interesting. I was surprised latching on to the first Vandamonium, after following Cruising the cut, didn't realise you did land and water. I have a Citroen Berlingo and always carry a single burner stove but never used it. As my wife and I are both 78, we got the vehicle so I can get a mobility scooter for my wife. We were hire boaters since 1982 but sadly not fit enough nowadays to do it on our own. Look forward to your next adventure, whether on on land or water. Good luck and take care. Barrie.

David, I am not interested in vans necessarily, but I am interested in "handcrafts" and I enjoyed your van modifications. I have seen them all and some more than once. I have seen all your cruising videos and some more than twice. I do have one comment, however, to this third Q/A episode: I watch your videos because you are a bloke I would enjoy knowing. You are simply good company. So the reason people would be interested in you and your life rather than a "thing" video is that some of us find you as the subject of the videos entertaining enough. We just like you, David -- as a person we've grown to know. But certainly there are too many "open" relationships on KZbin.

Ive sat through all of them and never so much as yawned! The differences can be dramatic like here the insurance on my van is $70 month basic coverage (the van isnt covered) If I jumped through all the hoops and got it registered as a Camper my insurance would be under $20month for full coverage.. your idea of a "long trip" is a lot different, from the northern tip of Scotland to the southern most point of England is around 600miles, its almost 650 miles from Tallahassee the capitol of Florida to Key West Florida the southern most point in the USA of course that IS a long trip. I try to stay with in a 250-300 mile range from Jacksonville Fl for my excursions of course there are exceptions..

About a year ago, Cruising the Cut came up on my KZbin and I decided to take a look, as I'm a bit of an Anglophile, and I was hooked. I came over to Vandemonium simply because it was yours. I live in a small town on the Prarie in west central Illinois, USA. I have neither a boat or camper of any type. I have no reason to watch a video on how to change the oil on a narrow boat or how to design and build a storage compartment for a cassette toilet for a camper van. However, I have watched these and all your other videos because you have the ability to present the most mundane topics, as well as intriguing, in such an accessible, entertaining and humorous way that it's difficult to not to want to see more. Loved the "canal rage" comment by the way. Also intrigued as to how to apply for "suspension testing".

Sorry, i missed the first two, but i DID find this very interesting. I find out you have similar values to me, on certain things. RE vertigo, vertigo is not a "fear" of heights, it`s your sense of balance is very limited, and when you get away from the ground, your periferal balance is upset. If i stand on a 9" building block, i can`t balance properly until my system has acclimatised to the points of sensory balance have to stablise. It sounds very scientific waffle, but it`s true. Vertigo is where your sense of balance destablises. I always enjoy your vids, thanks for posting them.

Just finished watching this Pt 3 of 3. No - we didn't find it boring and are joyfully looking forward to your next Vandemonium and Cruising the Cut vlogs. My wife and I live in the U.S., have done a week in a packet boat (what you would call a wide-beam) on the Erie Canal a couple of years ago and used to own a camper van so we can relate a bit. But the truth is, we watch your KZbin channels because of you. It's probably your experience in broadcast , but you're such a natural in front of the camera and are just such a pleasure to watch and listen to that I think we'd probably follow whatever you produce. I made it to the end and I was quite surprised that you are astonished that people are interested in you lifestyle. You can answer that yourself by looking at the number of subscribers to your channels. Personally, we live fulltime in our RV for the past 11 years so your small space living is my attraction.

A great trilogy to learn more about campervan life. Thank you David. I'm very sorry, and a bit disturbed, that cruising on the canals has lost its charm. I'm hoping that the fun & adventure well return as time passes. Best wishes!

Enjoyed all your Q & A, van life is similar to man and his shed. Your private space so valued, being happy to share but refuge as needed. Your so right for your private live to remain private.

Hi. Just confirming I got to the end! :-) :-). I'm not sure where the cure for insomnia comes in? I find your vlogs ( I came via Cruising the Cut) to be a delicious piece of relaxing escapism to be enjoyed with my breakfast. They were one of the highlights of the day during lockdown. Thank you. I must admit I was somewhat suprised ( I don't know why I should be) that you were a Van Halen ratther than a Van Morrison. Does this mean that the private part of your life that you're not revealing is the large motorbike and black leather jacket? :-) :-)
